Joyce Bussert, Dietician
Joyce Bussert is a licensed registered dietitian with a passion to help people have a healthy and gratifying relationship with food. Joyce earned her Bachelor’s degree in dietetics from Olivet Nazarene University. She later completed her Master’s Degree in Public Health from Benedictine University and certificates in Health Education and Promotion & Health Management and Policy. She has experience in foodservice, community nutrition, medical nutrition therapy, wellness, prenatal nutrition, pediatric nutrition, and diabetes education. Joyce has also worked in private practice, working with mental health professionals to bring awareness to the connection between mental health and nutrition. Joyce has a compassionate, realistic, and supportive approach, taking the time to understand how nutrition and eating affect her clients. Her areas of interest as related to nutrition include pediatric, prenatal, ADHD, across the lifespan, issues relating to mental health, weight loss/weight gain, and corporate wellness. Joyce has daytime, evening, and weekend availability.
