BZA Behavioral Health is pleased to announce that we are looking for a postdoctoral fellow in clinical psychology. The postdoctoral fellowship is a supervised, 12-month position, and the fellow will provide psychological and neuropsychological assessment, individual psychotherapy, couples psychotherapy, and potentially group psychotherapy.  Competitive salary is offered. Some evening hours and Saturdays are required. Ideal start date is July 1, 2019, but is negotiable.

BZA is a large group private practice with two conveniently located offices in Schaumburg and Lake in the Hills, IL.  Postdoctoral fellow will only work out of the Schaumburg office (minutes away from IL-53, I-290, I-90, and Woodfield Mall).  BZA serves a multicultural population, ages 4 through geriatric, within the northwest suburbs of Chicago. BZA prides itself on offering comprehensive emotional and behavioral wellness for the entire family.  The fellow should expect to receive training and consultation in both assessment and therapy. Fellow will be supervised by a licensed clinical psychologist and will participate in monthly group consultation and supervision.  BZA will provide referrals, access to administrative support services, billing, and marketing.

Minimum Requirements:  Applicants must have completed all requirements for their doctoral degree in clinical psychology from an APA-accredited university.  They must be licensed to practice at the Master’s level (e.g., LPC, LCPC). Applicants must be eligible to apply for licensure in Illinois by the end of their postdoctoral fellowship.

A desirable applicant must have strong assessment (psychological and neuropsychological) and psychotherapy skills.  Must have experience with both assessment and psychotherapy. Must demonstrate strong communication and writing skills.  Must have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults.
