Brenda started her career in hospital mental health before becoming a school social worker and coordinating prevention and wellness programming in schools. She has always been fascinated by human growth and development and loves supporting those who may have challenges to overcome but who also know there is a beautiful life ahead. Brenda believes that the benefit of therapy is less about a “cure” and more about expanding into one’s authentic self and life experience. Brenda has the utmost respect and admiration for those willing to step into the therapy journey.
Passionate about the outdoors and enjoying nature in any form, Brenda especially likes to hike, golf, and adventure in or on lakes, rivers, and oceans.
Brenda graduated from Wheaton College. (undergrad) Loyola University Chicago (Master’s), and Aurora University/George Williams College (Doctorate).
