To our valued clients and families,
We at BZA have been grateful for the flexibility and accessibility telehealth platforms have offered our clients during recent months. It is our privilege to serve our community’s mental health needs in a safe and convenient way during the pandemic.
BZA has been closely monitoring the guidelines for reducing the transmission of COVID-19. We have aligned our office policies with the State of Illinois and Chicagoland phased reopening plan. Based on public health reporting, we are reopening our offices for in-person sessions in Phase Four with an anticipated opening date of June 29th. Our Psychological testing services have been open since June 4th.
Rest assured, our clients’ safety is our highest priority. Our team has implemented additional sanitation measures and altered waiting room and front office policies to make visits as contactless as possible. A more comprehensive overview of what to expect when you come to our offices is available here.
Teletherapy continues to offer a safe alternative to in-person treatment and is recommended for those who have or are able to use it effectively. Ultimately, the decision to come back into the office for upcoming therapy visits is one that will be made on an individual basis between each client and their therapist. Please discuss your treatment preferences with your therapist at your next visit.
We look forward to continuing to serve our community and to adapt as necessary to protect the well-being of our clients and staff.
Yours in Health,
BZA Behavioral Health, LLC
