About Agnese MacTavish, LCSW

Agnese earned her Bachelor’s degree in Children and Family Studies and her Master’s degree in Social Work at DePaul University. She has experience working with adolescents and adults in the community mental health and in a hospital setting. Agnese specializes in working with mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, panic attacks, bipolar disorder, and adjustment disorders. She incorporates cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychoeducation, and skill-building techniques to offer a personalized approach specific to each client and their needs. Agnese offers an empathic, non-judgmental environment helping clients identify and expand their strengths and build a sense of personal empowerment.
