About Lauren Scalise, LCSW

Lauren Scalise, LCSW, earned her Master of Social Work degree from Aurora University after earning her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology degree. For the last five years, Lauren has gained experience within a community mental health setting where she worked with adults experiencing serious mental illness by providing wraparound therapy, community support, crisis intervention, resource linkage, and harm reduction strategies to individuals experiencing substance dependency.

Lauren previously worked for BZA as an intern, where she gained experience with private practice providing therapy to children, teens, and adults, as well as co-facilitating a teen DBT group. Lauren has a person-centered, holistic approach to therapy, truly meetings clients where they are in their recovery with an emphasis on building rapport. Lauren is open to working with any presenting issue and/or diagnosis, with a particular passion for working with mood and personality-related disorders.

Outside of work, Lauren enjoys spending time in nature. Some of her favorite hobbies include kayaking, hiking, and bowling.
